Advocate Marta Goldman

In my work I combine litigation practice with an interest in how the law shapes the decisions and activities of my clients. I help clients put their legal situation in order and set a course of action. Clear communication matters to me, so that clients can make informed decisions, understanding the available solutions, their consequences and the risks involved. I see the law as a tool for solving specific problems and achieving my clients’ goals.

My professional experience covers court litigation, analysis of contracts and security instruments, and advice on settlements and pursuing claims. I gained it at a law firm, in a company’s legal department and in local government. For several years I provided legal services to one of the largest banks in Poland. Working in different environments has given me both the perspective of a litigation attorney and an understanding of the needs of organisations that use legal services.

I graduated in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. In 2026 I also completed the postgraduate programme “The Investment and Construction Process for Lawyers” at Lazarski University.

I combine my practice as an advocate with academic work. I am a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences of the University of Łódź, conducting research at the Department of Political and Legal Doctrines of the Faculty of Law and Administration. My research focuses mainly on legal paternalism, classical liberalism and libertarianism, as well as non-democratic political systems.

Outside work I love animals and nature. I enjoy hiking in the forests and mountains. I am interested in art and sometimes take on creative projects myself. Liberal values are close to my heart, including respect for individual autonomy.
